Brazilian-American artist Thiciana Cruz (b. 1980) works in oil on canvas and wood board to create fluid, dynamic abstract compositions that represent the ephemeral and changing nature of perception and existence.

She experiments with a range of color palettes and shapes to convey a sense of movement and create paintings of meditative quality that aim to evoke emotional and subjective responses.

She has a degree in Marketing and Communications and has completed various art programs at Parsons Paris and the Art Students League of New York.
